Empower Your Family with SEND Advocacy and Neuroaffirming Support

SEND Family Advocate offers tailored, compassionate guidance to help parents navigate challenges, regulate emotions, and make informed decisions for their children’s well-being.

I’m trained across SEND law and mind-body regulation tools that directly address the sensory overload and stress responses so common in neurodivergent families.

Let me guess… you’re fighting for your child, exhausted by the system, and running on a level of empty you didn’t know existed…

I hold space for families without judgment or platitudes and work with you to take on the fight and give you space to breathe… I also make great tea.

The Art Of Living Well

I’m an autistic advocate and coach. I’ve spent years mastering how to live well after a burnout at 28 which changed my life’s direction. I didn’t know I was autistic then, but I pivoted from running a lucrative (but unsustainable) business, to making it my life’s work to understand the art of living well… based on me and what I needed to thrive.

Motherhood to my neurodivergent children sharpened that work, as I began raising AuDHD/PDA children through school refusal and system failures.

I can offer practical strategies rooted in empathy, deep compassion and lived autistic reality.

My credentials include IPSEA SEND Law Levels 1, 2 & 3 for expert navigation of EHCPs and tribunal processes; ISHTA Trained Yoga Teacher (200hr TT) and Breathworks Mindfulness Level 1 for breath-anchored calming practices; Understanding Autism Level 2 and Children and Young People’s Mental Health Level 2 for neuroaffirming insights; and Everyday Nutrition from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London, to support families through food aversions and energy crashes. While not formally credentialed in somatics, I’ve spent years applying vagus nerve and body-based techniques – working with the senses to release stored stress and tension – which reveals why school environments overwhelm ADHD children’s autonomic systems so profoundly.

Autistic-led insight:

I get demand avoidance, sensory overload, and executive dysfunction from the inside.

System fluency

SEND law and local authority games demystified through real cases, including my own.

Practical boundaries:

Support designed for parents at capacity, with async options and clear outcomes.

How I Work…

Everything I offer is designed around real life with neurodivergent kids and limited energy.

  • Flexible support: a mix of live sessions and written/async support, so you’re not tied to rigid appointments on your hardest days.
  • Clear boundaries: realistic expectations about what we can achieve together, so you don’t feel you’ve “failed” if the system is slow to move.
  • Neuroaffirming practice: no behaviourism, no shaming, no “fixing” your child – just support that respects their neurology and your family’s reality.
